Okay, it's beyond obvious that spending a Sunday at the pumpkin farm is the best, can I get an amen? Spending just the right amount of time picking out the perfect pumpkin, sipping on hot chocolate to keep warm, petting farm animals and taking in all of the oranges and yellows that fall has to offer.
We packed the family up and headed out to Heartland Farms for a fun filled day. It was Ronan's first trip to the farm and I don't think I've been to a pumpkin farm since middle school. With a cool crisp in the air, I gave myself permission to act like a kid and just have fun. Sometimes live throws you some curveballs but it's little moments like visiting the pumpkin farm that puts things back into perspective. Spending time with my family and taking some time to slow down and enjoy the day is exactly what I needed. The days are getting shorter and the air is getting colder, and this was the perfect way to close the summer chapter.
