So I'm super lame and about 10 years late on this post, but better late than never, right? We've been homeowners now for about 3 months and boy what a ride it's been. We've done a lot of updates and kind-of, sort of hit a wall. We still have a room full of boxes that need to be unpacked. Yes, an entire room. Now I know why people say your work as a homeowner is never done. The quicker you accept that, the better. Now, let's move on to the grand tour.
MASTER BEDROOM
Once upon a time, this gem had teal carpet in it and lots of honey colored wood. Oh ya. We've done a TON to this room, and are still working on decor. Guess you'll have to wait and see all the updates in a future post.
SPARE BEDROOM
There's something so homey about baby puke green carpet, right? Too bad we didn't keep that. This room is our spare bedroom/office/things we haven't unpacked yet room. I hope to one day totally transform this, but one thing at a time.
BATHROOM
I promise this is by far the worst thing you will ever see in your life. Plastic green tile, hand-held shower, prison lights and an "oh-shit" handle bar. Sounds like a dream, huh? You guys are gonna die when you see how different this room looks.
LIVING ROOM
This room came furnished with a tv from the 80's. It's currently in our front yard if you want to take it off my hands. Call me! I saw the most potential in this room when we looked at the house. Huge windows, lots of natural light, nice flow throughout the house, and a secret tv compartment. Can you find it?
KITCHEN
Unfortunately this is where the budget ran out. This kitchen still looks a lot like these pictures, minus the surf blue walls, and doily curtains, I just had to part ways with those things. There's also a cutie little dining room in there somewhere, which I some how didn't get pictures of so that's cool.
Plan to see lots of DIY's, Pinterest hacks, and transformations from this neck of the woods. What'd you guys think of the ol' grand tour?
